Concept

Art Nouveau is my favorite art style, so I looked around on Behance to find text that conveys that style and adjusted that type of text to have a more haunting appearance. The name of the band has the word “Pipes” so I thought it would be pretty cool to have smoke coming out of that part of that word and form itself into a skull. Spider lilies represent impermanence and the afterlife and the eyes in the flowers are looking at the smoke, as it is as fleeting as life can be. The Ivy are above the skull and are the contrasting symbol of the ones I’ve mentioned, as it represents eternal life; as well as love.

I placed the Spotify code that was linked to his Spotify on the back of the shirt, in case anyone was curious and wanted to check out his band in an efficient way.

Apps and Websites Used

Sticker App: I used StickerApp to create the sticker. The first batch I made were extremely tiny as I wasn’t aware or paying attention to how big the sticker was going to end up. I think I thought I had the setting sent to inches rather than centimeters. I re-made the sticker to it’s correct sizing and shipped them off to Sam.

Printify: I used Printify create the T-shirts. I placed the design on virtual shirts and ordered different versions of the shirts to find the most softest, fitting, and comfortable one before I sent off the shirts to my client.
