ANiMA Music App Website Landing Page

Concept

This was probably my second landing page that i’ve made in Adobe XD. I was going for a semi-simplistic, yet modern and chic design. I put the call of action at the top right with the title and a paragraph on the left because our eyes tend to view things from left to right in a zig-zag motion.

Something that would be different with this music app over other music apps is that it would have a family plan and the algorithm would select songs based on what everyone in the family listened to. It would be aware of the ages of the children listening to the music as well and make a blend of music that’s appropriate for everyone in the family. I think this would be a fun feature to add for families to use over the holidays and a great way to bond with each other.

I think another cool feature to add would probably be a game feature where it gathers information on what types of music games people play with others and it would be included in the app.

Homepage

Throughout the site, I used a transparency and blur mode over the images to guide the eyes of users as they scrolled. It makes it simpler for users to know what portion they’re looking at or paying attention to. I also just think it’s a really cool effect.

If I were to change anything—

Most people tend to intuitively understand images and symbols, but if I were to change anything I would add small text underneath the logos on the Homepage, explaining what the subscriptions plans are. The first logo on the left is for an ‘Individual Plan’, middle is a ‘Family-Plan’ and the right is a ‘Student Plan.’ Normally music apps don’t offer family plans, but that’s something that would be unique about this app out of other music apps that are out in the market right now.

I would also probably change the location of the social media logos that are in the page where you can select songs. I initially thought it would be a good idea to place them there because it’s easy to see, and I thought it would be more likely that people would click on the logos and follow the accounts pages. At the same time, I feel like it’s in a very random spot and those social media logos are typically in the footer of a page.
